"This small quilt (12'' x 18") is a recent commision. It is a wedding gift for a couple married near Lake Tahoe, CA last July. I hand painted the sky and water fabrics. The trees are my version of "thread painting". There is piping and machine quilting to finish it off."

"Welcome to Hawaii" is Didi Salvatierra's original design from a workshop with Paula Golden from Woodbridge, VA.

Dragonflies' Delight
This quilt is both pieced and appliqued. It is hand quilted and embellished with beads.
It won 1st place in the Mixed Technique category at "Quilting in the Tetons", October 2003 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming..
Sunrise Duet

This is my quilt and was made by me and my friend Carole A. Liebzeit of
Wilson, Wyoming. It was at the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival in February and
just won First Place in the group category at the Northern Star Quilt Guild
Show in Somers, NY.
It won an Honorable Mention in the Team Category at the NQA Show in Columbus, Ohio June 16-18 .
It has been accepted in the Quilt Odyssey in Hershey, PA  July 28-31
It combines Carole's wonderful color palette and fractured circle piecing
and my piping, borders, hand quilting and beading.
