Halloween Lone Star
I have always wanted to try making a lone star quilt. I saw a pattern in Quiltmaker magazine for lone star with this Halloween fabric and I could not resist making one for myself. I love Halloween and have quite a collection of Halloween fabrics to prove it. I am hoping to make another lone star quilt using Jan Krentz's book, "Lone Stars and Beyond".
Jack's Quilt
When my oldest son, Jack, was three I would let him pick out a piece of fabric he liked every time we went to the fabric store. After about a year we have quite a collection. I used the attic windows setting to showcase his fabrics and the quilt also comtains some of his clothes, including his first baby outfit.
Brad's Quilt
I made this for my second son, Brad, when he was a baby. He loved the
water from the time he was born and would kick around like a little
frog. When I saw this pattern I knew it was perfect for him. The backing
contains pieces of his baby outfits which had frogs on them.
